Welcome to a street style blog, organic rural Maine style!

This blog is a testament to my passion for two things that might seem incongruous but are actually completely in sync: the
Maine Organic Farmer & Gardener Association's Common Ground Country Fair, and street style.

Please post!

If you are enjoying this blog, please consider posting below some of your favorite outfits. I have no idea if anyone is looking at this unless I see your comments! And it makes it more fun if there are comments by others, I think.

Some ideas for comments:
  • Post what YOU wore to Common Ground this year.
  • Post the favorite outfit you saw.
  • Post under pictures of people you know.
  • Post under the pictures of outfits you love.
Etcetera!

Thanks. You don't know how happy it makes me to read your thoughts.

  1. i have never been to common ground (or heard of it before this) but i dig this blog! saw it linked from The Rainbow Notebook, but i'm a reader of yours from before (i love home/birth. i'm training to be a doula! woo!!) but yeah wish the blog could keep going before next year's fair. maybe you could ask other attendees to send in pictures? or have people submit pictures from similar events? also, you should write a post telling us your favorite street style blogs! one of my new faves is: http://onthecornerstreetstyle.blogspot.com/ and i also love fashionist.

  2. Thanks, Carrie! Love that you got here all these ways, and thanks for the shout-out about Home/Birth. (Yay for being a doula!) I would love to keep the blog going...I may try to take other pics of rural Maine style and post them from time to time, but mostly I want it to be about the fair (which you must come to sometime!).

As I mentioned, I'm not a big blog reader, so you tell ME what street style blogs I should follow, please! I definitely like Fashionist, and I do occasionally get inspired by the Satorialist, and I'll check out the other one you mentioned.
